If you set album and/or song scrolling on you can hear a tiny bleeping sound when the line scrolls, just like the H120
![]() Luckely you can put off the srolling feature but it's a bit harder to find back the music if you store it like I do /artist / artist - album / artist - album/artist - album - number - title.ogg oh and before I forget, can't hear those bleeps with the stock earphone, but my shure E3's let me know that those bleeps are there!

I organise my music like this
/artist /album /number - title.mp3 Occasionally if it's a long song I need to wait for it to scroll, but not that often. |

I never heard a beep while scrolling and music is playing. But perhaps I have no very sophisticated ears.

I never heard it too, but I guess you hear it through more sensitive and high end earphones...

Hmm, I've the Koss PortaPro, I thought they were sort of not bad or somethin' but who knows, perhaps it is just disturbing for some.

hmm, I get the "bleeping" sound too with my Etymotic ER-4p. It's more like a tick then a beep though. Happens with any change in display in the remote - even the graphic equaliser so sometimes gets really annoying.
I took the remote back to the shop and tried another one but it seems like it's a design flaw of the remote. When i tried a pair of earphones they had there I couldn't hear it I can, however hear it with my Koss Portapros as well (though quieter). |

I have fairly good hearing and a Sennheiser HD-595, and never heard anything like that on mine. What M3 do you have, I wonder ?
I did notice that the M3 is very poorly insulated from exterior interferences, which is particularly annoying when I'm travelling in our electrically driven suburban trains.... :-\ EDIT: typos

yes, eXity did a few tests on the insulation of the remote cord and proved it wasnt really that good! So that might be why you are getting this interference!
