Repair?

So, back in Febuary, I bought an F2 for my cousin for her birthday (which isn't till' March 11th, I got an early start this year), I get it in the mail the 25th and everything worked fine, and she liked it.

As my luck would have it, yesterday she comes up to me and says: "Something happened to that music player you got me". I asked what, and she replied: "Something... colorful", which I soon found out ment a HUGE crack all the way across the screen, from the top right corner to the bottom left (which, of course, she claims she didn't do). It still plays music and apparently the buttons all work, so the only thing messed up is the hideously fractured screen.

And of course it's not covered under warranty so is there any way to get it repaired?

Contact Cowon. They won't repair it for free, obviously, but they will still repair it.

Nope. And any estimate I could give would be far less authoritative than what Cowon would give you anyway...and since you have to contact them in any case...

Well, actually I wouldn't know.
She said not to bother so we never got it repaired.

Meanwhile I got answer from cowon service, it costs about 45 Euro (Germany) incl. shipping, if only the display must be changed.

I think we will not let it repair.
