My A2 doesn't recognise subtitles. I tried to use (downloaded) .srt files, but that doesn't work. So, then I tried to use AutoGK to "burn" them into the movie, but I just can't get that program to find my subs. I read a part about opening IDX in Vobsub, and I did find it, but I couldn't do anything whith it. I have tried several things as you can see, but nothing works! What am I doing wrong??? Is there anyone who can help me? By now I'm desperate. ![]() |

I'm not sure what the A2 takes anymore, but at one time the subtitles HAD to be .smi format. That's what I use. I just put the file in the same place as the movie and give it the same name as the movie file except with the .smi extension. Works for me!

The SRT files I've used work fine. They have to be named the same as your movie, i.e moviefilename.srt

In some cases, the A2 doesn't recognize .srt
one day, i had to open the subtitle file, and to save it in dos text format, after that il can read it ! Sometimes it's the encoding version witch is not good, so you have to transform it into .smi or other, and to re-encvode to .srt file |
