Hi,
As you might know, there are many people around the world 'hacking' their Ipods and adding new options to it. You can see this for example at:
http://www.ipodhacks.com/modules.php...ads&file=index
or at
http://www.extremeipod.com/

I was wondering: does anyone of you know such sites for the Iaudio M3? Does this also exist??? Or: are there any Ipod-hacks that also work on M3? Or other hacks that work on M3???

Greetings, Ellen

it seems that these are just tricks and stuff for the ipod, nothing big, but make the ipod quite cool in-fact (I can't believe i just said that, i hate the ipod).

Eitherway, its not 'reli' adding new options for it, its not hacked firmware or anything.

I think the M3 should also have a dignoistics screen / code, so that you can disable various options (such as timer display, visuals and KBPS display, so that songs can load faster maybe).

However, i don't kno of any M3 Hack/Tips/Tricks sites. Meh.

I doubt there are such possibilities for the M3 because I suppose Cowon to mention all these extra-features (e.g. Lyrics reader).
On the other hand, the hacks I know from the iPod are only the "hidden easter egg" which was a game called on the iPod G1&2 (later it was an official feature) and to "hack" the volume limitation iPods have in Europe because of a French law.

You can install Linux on your iPod, if you want to.
It even supports ogg... Sadly not in realtime.
Lets code Linux for Cowon, too ;D

Lol, lets install Windows 3.1 and play some Commander Keen or Doom 2

That would be mad to fool around with a device like that. In the not-too distant future it should be possible.

I would prefer Tetris, i love it since 1992 and since it's also on my phone, it would be nice to play it on M3 too!
:-)))
