I can even do that with my 5 year old Creative zen.
Too bad the glowing fanboy reviews didnt mention this or other weaknesses/faults I have experienced with my 8 gig DAB D2 so far ![]() Nice audio quality, lies battery spec totally bad and buggy tag management. But not able to use the D2 with the main power ? Thats some way to kill your D2 batteries fast if you use the lineout a lot. Dapunk |

you should be able to use your D2 when you connect it to the mains via the included mains adapter, HOWEVER, the D2 will not work if you are charging via USB.

When you read the battery specs on cowons webpage they say which settings they have used, so no lie there. And about using it while charging it, you can do that. Just turn the power switch on and you can use it!

yeah as the say in the USA "my bad" cos I can now use the D2 with the Mains power supply ... er rather than switching the D2 on with the normal switch method (which just tells me battery full) I have found I have to press the M button instead.
Oh of course its so obvious the method I use to power the D2 on and access the menu suddenly changes when I have the power cable connected and instead I have to press M!!!! Sorry as for battery specs and test, I see nothing listed just "self tests" DP |

I didn't know about the M button to switch it on, I just switch it on first before plugging the mains in...
