Default Checking video compatibility

Hi,

I'll be a new A2 owner hopefully tomorrow and I'd like to check if my collection of xvids will play before it arrives. It'll just give me a head start on transcoding if they won't.

Is there any easy way to check in advance?

Here's an example for one

XVid MPEG4, 624x352 23.976fps 984kbps
MP3 audio 48khtz

Thanks in advance.

The Cowon A2 will certainly read this, UNLESS you used the advanced compression features quarter pixel (Qpel) and/or Global Motion Compensation (GMC).
Any videos encoded with these are not supported without being transcoded first.

You can check this using Gspot, read the FAQ for more information.
