Cowon D2 Video Out Questions

i just received my cowon d2 from newegg firmware 2.41, i know i have to update but i'm just experimenting for tonight, i am wondering for the Composite Out cable, its usb mini to composite, do you need a cowon specific cable or will any usb to composite work

Just a heads up though, the TV-out quality is pretty bad. Very disappointing. The cable is like $10.00 too..
