Shame on my noobish ass, I am unworthy comparing with you.
![]() Because I don't have the time right now for getting my own skills. What are the settings for the best possible quality? The "standard" settings brings down a 87.8MB to 12.2MB file. But there is a lack of quality. Would one of your gods perhaps post me settings for the best possible quality on the D2? If possbile, can you insert that the Aspect Ratio should be the same (padding, right? I am learning this stuff slowly). ![]() ![]() EDIT: Awesome tool combination. Most, because it is sync!!!! No Sir, I have still aliasing with videos generated with this tool.
So do I have to do a trade-off between anti-aliasing and synchronisation? ![]() EDIT: I did it with this settings Code:
PRIORITY=HIGH BITRATE=1964 ASPECT=2 ;ASPECT=3 ;PADDING=32 ;PADDING=AUTO ;CUT_TOP=6 ;CUT_BOTTOM=6 CUT_LEFT=6 CUT_RIGHT=6 ;AUDIO=192 ;AUDIO=COPY ;AUDIO_DELAY= ;START= ;DURATION= ;SPLIT= ;DVD_LANGUAGE=en ;DVD_TITLE=2 ;DVD_CHAPTER=1 OPTION=-fps 25 ;OPTION=-ni 25 fps whole bitrate: 145kBit Audio: 128 kbit Cowons software shows me: Video: 1 Mps, 25 fps Audio 128kBits What goes wrong? How about screenshots? For comparison? 1. bitrate is way too high 2. don't use aspect if you're not sure what it's doing Not Vista nor Cowon's are reliable in that. Use good tools like gspot and mediainfo. |

The ";" before a command means it's inactive. Remove the ";" before the "padding" and try again.
Get rid of the "OPTION=-fps 23.976", you don't need it for almost any material. The app handles frame rates fine on its own. A bitrate of 500 is usually more than enough, 700 is usually perfect for difficult material - 1500 is overkill, in my opinion. |

Well, max,
First of thanks for your awesome converter. I convertet much videos in no time using it ! Sadly I got some weird problem. If I playback a converted video it plays back fine until short before the end, then it displays the following error (I edited it... my paint skillz sucks, cause I got an German OS): .I haven't recieved my D2 yet, but this is quite annoying. I converted the same videos with the iLove converter and haven't got that error. Hope you can help out. |

Hello, I don't get how this works :s. I put D2video and mencoder.exe in one file, then I change D2video into D2video.exe. Then I drag a video on D2video.exe and then I get a 'black screen', but nothin happens...

you got to put both in one FOLDER, then run D2Video once, after that it will create a D2Video.ini, next drag the videos you wanna convert onto your D2Video.exe and it should start to convert.
