umm... what about that Album cover (the Default Cowon Album cover)? can it be removed within settings?

I don't think so, but you could blank it out via your own resource file customization.

For example, I just tried the WinXP theme and it replaced the default Album cover with a Windows-style graphic. You could just as easily make the default one a fully transparent image.
