Default A little confused as to how to get video to play on my f2

So I have this little f2 guy here, and i'm loving it. I just bought it for audio and was pretty stoked to see that I could also play video files on it.

I notice it only recognizes avis, which is cool, but it seems like it won't play any of the avis that I transfer onto it from my hard drive.

I read somewhere that you need to convert the files specially, and that jetaudio vx is the one to do it. However, I'm running a linux box over here and unless I'm mistaken, jetaudio will only work on windows.

Is there any other program I can use? And if there is, how do I use it (i.e. how do I know the right "type" of avi to convert to)?
