My Comp was infected with some crap virus and i needed to back up my data , i was stumped as i needed close to 8 GB data then i thought of my A2 , well i dumped the data but in a diffrent folder created (DATA) by me , well the issue here is that now i keep getting this message
"MAX FILE TITLES REACHED" the A2 works fine but was just wondering what is the scenario under which we get this thing . Does the A2 have a limit on the number of files in it ? |

Yeah, there is a limit for the number of files you can put on the A2.
It will slow down a lot (and pop up that error message) when you reach it but otherwise it doesn't seem to cause any harm. I don't know exactly what the limit is though (but it's HIGH, maybe 10'000 files or so). I once dumped a big project with tons of files including about three thousand tiny WAV files on my A2 (just to carry it around) and I got that message. Recommendation: create an archive file with your data first (ZIP, RAR, whatever). It will also speed up the transfer a lot. Last edited by MCSmarties; 06-12-2007 at 09:51.. |
