Default music skips

Hi, ever since I RMAed my X5L I think about a month ago for having an "HDD Error," it makes a skipping noise, and sounds like a whirring sound like the hard drive is spinning, but it actually comes out through the headphones. I know it's not the files because they play fine on my computer, and I have tried formatting and putting the files on again, several times. I have also tried both the 2.10-e and 2.11b firmwares. Anybody have any ideas, or will I have to RMA it again?
