Default Transcend 8GB SDHC card

Does it have to be class 2?

I saw this on ebay...
http://cgi.ebay.com/Transcend-8GB-Se...QQcmdZViewItem

and I was wondering if anyone uses this and can confirm it works.

It works with the beta firmware, but the beta firmware has problems with sdhc cards in general in that filling too much of the card will cause it to not display files. Class determines the write speed of the card. Class 2 is the slowest, but is plenty fast for me. Transcend cards are a little faster other class 2 cards.

Hey RasJon... ok i can tell you that the card does not have to be a class 2; it can be a class 4 or 6 but it doesnt really matter, unless your in to the speed side of things, but i can definatly comfirm that this card works, i had posted up a picture of my D2 and this exact same card somewhere in the posts last month... but hey it works dude....hope that helps....thankx .

No, hibell, they do I order from them all the time... in fact I'm eyeing up an SD HC card from there. FedEx 2-day to Hawaii is about $!4.00 for the card

$14.00 shipping to hawaii. hate when we get overcharged. i guess its one of the prices to pay for living here.

well, i can still live without bigger cards. will wait til prices drop or shop around and find a steal. still using internal mem (2gb) for my fave tunes and latest movie or show to watch. have several 1gb and 2gb cards for extra music and video.

using 2.41b with no probs so far. the only pain in the ass is getting to the root folder for the card. itching to try bigger ones but like i said i can wait.
