i think a brilliant feature would be, to make the middle button as a way to switch the left/right buttons from volume controls or previous/next track

Korea Cowon Official web site.

You know iriver?

Iriver announced putting on sale new MP3 Clix2
(similar D2), after day Cowon release improved features in the next firmware(mainly dictionary).

Many Korean people(especially ages 15~25 student) want English dictionary, so perhaps people choose D2, not a Clix2... Good Timing^^;;

It will work great, when the screen is closed. That way the menu will still have its function.

Yeah my mother is going to buy a Clix2 ore a A3 not shure

I liked the sound of my iriver u10 more then the sound of D2...

so it would be cool to change the players with her

but a A3 is just so perfect for videos!!!

hmm, so we won't be able to get the dictionary, eh? -__-"~
I know some people are going to find me weird, but I want a dictionrary on my COWON D2.

Are we able to switch over to the korean firmware?
If so, does anyone know how to?

Why would there be a difference from the firmware in korea....?
Or is the dictionary feature only available with the DMB version?

I think a dictionary is a great idea...
So I would like to have it

the think is, if you put the korean version on your European/american D2, will the firmware boot without the DMB unit present on the player ? and will it funcion correctly,

theres a good chance that it will and when you press the DMB botton, all you get is a black screen and a possible hang (player no longer responds), but the fact that the dictornary is only present in the korean version might indicate that its korean -> english only or something,

I think there are seperate firmwares for dmb and non-dmb players, so if you flash with the Korean non-dmb firmware, you shouldn't have a problem.

I've flashed my iAudio5 and F1 with Korean firmwares and have had no problems, but I don't yet have a D2, but I will definitely be messing around with firmwares when I do get it
