I'm saying that any digital EQ is confined to the limits of digital formats. There are upper and lower limits on the values which can be transmitted. If a song has a note which is already close to an upper or lower limit, and then you modify that frequency range with an EQ, the value cannot go past the limit (or, it should not, some older software and digital EQs didn't prevent it, and then there can be REAL damage to equipment). So, it is clipped.

3D Surround: 0
Stereo Enhance: 0
MP Enhance: 0

Well reading what your doing to your ears with these options makes me cry...

just things i found out with RMAA...

MP Enhance: couses BIG clipping coloring of mids and treble
--> I would say it schould be used with very low quality mp3´s and recordings...

BBE: is much better. but still causes clipping... If using it, pls no further 3!
--> I am using it with HipHop!

Machbass3: I found that using the EQ brings more natural bass then Mac3Bass!!!

Stereo Enhance is cool with high quality mp3´s if wont to gain some cool Dolby Prologic II Music effects... but with low quality recordings it couses muddy rolled off high effects... letters like "S" become allfull to listen to!

3d effekts ...same as stereo enhace but way mor agressiv...

Equilizer: no Clipping till 2 db over 0 so usefull till 2 db, iff oyu go further it will color the vocals ect...

So my advice is use only BBE till 3 and stereo enhance if you want some funky effects. to add some more bass you schould use the EQ no further 3db for real bassheads

I find it interesting that when I first used the D2 it was already set to and not flat.

I use no EQ: I like my music like I ripped it please.

here are my current settings : -

Equalizer: ROCK Setting : 9-6-0-6-12
BBE: 10
Mach3Bass: 10
3D Surround: 0 (this makes the sound really sound crap)
Stereo Enhance: 6
MP Enhance: on

its because i like listening to Linkin Park and japanese songs

You must love bass.

My settings are currently:
are flat for first three and then +2 for both 4K and 12K
no other enhancements.

Still experimenting though

Humble request: Could posters also please list which heaphones or IEM's they are using with their settings?
Because it makes a difference, different settings work better with various headphones.

BBE 2
MB 6
3D 3
SE 2
MP ON

I use V Moda Vibes Most if the time and I listen to mostly Rock & Hard Rock

When I listen to classical I use:

EQ Classical
BBE 2
MB 2
3D 3
SE 2
MP ON

no probs dude im currently using the 'Sony MDR-EX71SLB Fontopia Headphones' which i can tell you are AWESOME
