Sound quality vs M3

Hello, I have a quick quesion: I own the M3 and am slightly disappointed in the sound quality, at least compared to the ZVM, and Karma. Is the sound quality of the X5 better than the M3, and if so, is it significantly better?

It might be helpful to know that I tun all the enhancements off (except for the mp3 enhancement), and I set the equalizer to normal when I listen to my music.

In my opinion, the ZVM has better "unaltered" sound than the X5 (don't know about the M3). But with enhancements, the X5 beats the ZVM.
