Help USB Port standard or proprietary?

I can't tell by the pictures, but the CNet review keeps referring to the USB port on the T2 as "proprietary." So is it a standard mini-USB port that you can use any mini-USB to regular USB cables, or is it proprietary and you'd have to use the included adapter or cable?

For my F2 "which has the same port as the T2" I'm using the USB cable that came with it for safety reasons. I'm pretty sure using any other Mini-USB cable would be acceptable.

It has a mini USB port like every other Cowon player. You can use any mini USB cable and it will work fine.

it is defininately NOT the standard mini-usb plug that looks like this:

it is much smaller. so if it is not proprietary, it is definately not a standard cable.

Are you sure it's "much smaller"?

That mini USB "B" cable is pretty small, like 3-4 mm wide at the metal contacts.

Anything?
