Hi,
I recently bought one of the above but I'm having a hard time getting it to play an album in track order rather than alphabetical. I can't seem to find settings on the original firmware to change it so that it will play in track order so I downloaded and installed rockbox and the same thing happened. I'm pretty stumped now. If anyone could help me out I'd be massively grateful. Cheers Max |

Rename the files to start with the track #.

I did think of that but it seemed like a hugely annoying thing to have to do! Is that the only option?

It's not hugely annoying using MediaMonkey or other MP3 organizer software.
Though, doesn't the iRiver read ID3 tags? I seem to recall it being a bit of a hassle to setup, though not impossible. www.misticriver.net (I think) would have info about that.
