search the forum for topics concerning the invisible sheild, aka the IS, it is a clear plastic covering for the whole player.

I'll second that, I use the invisible shield on lots of different devices and have never once been disappointed.

i would suggest the ZCover. not the IS. seems a lot of people have trouble with air bubbles getting stuck while applying IS. go for Zcover. they are the same price i think.

The ZCover will definitely change the look and size of your X5 though. Personally, I think the ZCover is highly unattractive. Many people think it looks cool though, so that's all just personal preference. If you take care in applying the IS, it's pretty easy to avoid getting any air bubbles in it. Just use a little soapy water and a credit card and you're done.

ZCover is a bit to pricey for me right now...
I found these five products on ebay - what do you say on each:

I've had my A2 for almost a month. I bought the BSE from http://www.bestskinsever.com/servlet/StoreFront

They didn't have one for the A2 so I got the sheet and cut my own. I used one before when I had a Zen Vision:M and was happy with the product. I also got a zcover which arrived today. I like the combo. It's only been a day but I like the way the clip can be used as a stand. I feel like the unit is well protected now and I don't have to use the leather case anymore.

I originally left the film on for about a week.....and then bought a psp screen protector at radio shack which was total crap. I don't remember the name of it, but I didn't realize how badly it affected the pic quality until I took it off to put the bse on a few days ago.

Stay away from cheap screen covers ex ebay, they are crap.

I use a Cleartouch Anti-Glare screen protector (search forum) and while it works decently I'm not sure if I would buy it again.

At best: bad plastic quality, loss of lunminosity (the best screen protectors transmit something like 99.9% of the light), smears

At worst: crappy glue that sticks so hard to your screen that you can actually damage it.

Look, this I know from hearsay (resp. websites that test that sort of stuff). If you think about it, anybody can
take a piece of thick clingwrap, dump some glue on it and sell it on ebay as a "quality screen protector".

But do you really want to risk your A2 with that just to save $5 or $10? I don't!

There are many people in this forum who advocate not to put anything on your screen at all.
Other than that, Invisible Shield appears to be the product of choice (never tested it myself)

What I am most concerned with is dust under the screen. (although, no glare is nice)

I was looking at the Cleartouch Anti-Glare and I wonder whether it would prevent the accumulation of dust.

Care to enlighten me, MCSmarties or eozen81?
