This is a retarded question. I know. But how do I connect my G3 to the included necklace? I see the little hook on the G3, but I can't seem to pull it out or anything. How the hell do I hook the end of this neckband or whatever to my G3? Any pictures / help would be much appreciated.

it's pretty standard for most devices. Thread a loop through the ring, then thread the whole necklace through the loop.

The hard part is getting the loop through the hole on the I5 (only advantage of G3)

Pretty easy see this shot I took of my G3.
Hope you'll be able to figurre out.
Also the shiny knob that have a pushing lock goes behind your neck.
It is to adjust the Lanyard to your liking, it looks pretty weird 'coz some remaing cord will stick out from behind your neck.
But then the lanyard is the most effective method of carry it.

I better wouldnt carry it like that. The little ring often opens if there is too much power on. Better do it directly trough the metal which is directly in the player ! Just my advice ....

What metal is directly in the player????

I mean, I have a lot of metal in the memory of my player, but I don't suspect you mean that metal, do you?

kemot1984,

Remove the ring. Unscrew the necklace. Untie the cord. Pass the cord through the metal where the ring used to be. Retie the cord. Reassemble the necklace. Voila!
