I have some nice e3c headphones, but they are so sensitive I get a low volume hiss when I have them plugged into my Audigy soundcard. I was wondering has anyone ever used shure 3ec earphones with any iaudio player and did you get any hiss/noise???

Awaiting my I5 via suntec

I don't think it's something to really worry about. Though if you do get it and there's lots of hiss I guess you'll have to get something else. I have heard about people who do hear a hiss, but some people don't notice it or don't care for it's too minor. I guess it'll be up to your ears.

It seems any time I use headphones with the computers at work, I hear hiss. Just my $.02.

with high sensitive headphones like the E3 you can even hear a bleep when you press or switch a button on the remote.
It's even worse with the UM2's (have had the E3's as well)
