I, Like, Do Stuff Here.

Per a suggestion from CLM88, this thread is for posting links to Rockbox builds that can be DL'ed.
Please include some sort of explanation of what's in the build. ![]()

Hi all!
I downloaded Bernych´s latest build. Now I got a big problem. My musicfiles don´t play anymore. Everytime I start a song..All I get is a annoying sound! It's like an radio tuner or someting!! I don't know what to do. I have put the build as my earlier in my X5 so I don't get it at all` Anyone else with this problem or an explanation to the problem? Ah, I remember...I stil have this bootloader with the rec + On to choose Roxboxsolution. Can that be a problem? |

is the EQ enabled? some builds have different settings for the EQ, make a backup of the running build, and delete the .rockbox folder before extracting the new build.

Hmmm, I think you're actually listening radio...
When you go to the radio menu, be sure you exit it, not just quit the screen. You must shut off the radio (with ON/OFF button I think). otherwise, the radio isn't stopped and you can't play music...

Don't think if it works, but it really sounds cool:

Hi!
Just as you told me, if I "muted" the equalizer, I got sound on my songs again. But, of course I want to tourn ON my equalizer. Did I understand you correct that it's possible to use this build WITH my equalizersettings in some way? |

I made a new build today including the following plugins (for those plugins already included check http://www.iaudiophile.net/forums/showthread.php?t=8231):
-album_art_v4.03.patch -arbitrary_enum_conditionals.patch -menubutton.patch -progressbar_ycoord_extension2.1.patch -scroll-margins-DD_20060725.patch (no colorised-wps again, sorry) -scrobbler.patch I didn't manage to apply bmp_resize patch and album_art_v5.00 at the same time (other users have similar problems), so I went back to using the usual album_art_v4.03. also the x5-lcd-shufoff-and-shutdown patch woudn't apply without errors. Nevertheless, good news for all of you using audioscrobbler (http://last.fm): With this build (and the option "audioscrobbler log" enabled in playback-menu) rockbox will write a .scrobbler.log file to the root of your x5 which can be submitted to last.fm using this webpage: http://rockscrob.hostvit.ru/ thanks to all those making this patch possible. ![]() get the build here: Scrobbler-Build mentat |

Hi Mentat,
really a nice build! Now I know what last.fm aka audioscrobbler is. You can apply the album_resize patch on the version 4.03 of the album art patch too, but with the p1 option! tried it now and it really works, cool! added the following patches: - album_art_v4.03.patch (p0) - album_resize_v0.90.patch (needs p1 patching!) - mazezam.patch (p0) - menubutton.patch (p0) - progressbar_ycoord_extension2.1.patch (p0) - scrobbler.patch (p0) - scroll-margins-DD_20060725.patch (p0) i got 2 errors at the end of the compilation process, but it was nearly at the end i think somewhere at the plugins, which i never use. maybe some of the plugins don't work with this build. i can live with it ... the build automatically resizes large bmp's to the desired size. it even enlarges smaller covers to a bigger size! the only thing you have to do, is to restart the x5 between "cover size switches". DL here: http://www.jeff.at/fileadmin/rockbox.zip

Well, I didn't actually see the album_resize patch. I used the one they recommend in the patch tracker of the album_art.patch (and that one really didn't work, it was called something like bmp_resize.patch, I think, and gave me errors during "make", not while applying) I don't need resizing anyways, but it would have made a nice addition.
but that is a great build that you compiled there. |
