My ipod classic died on me ,so i tore it apart ,after refering to some youtube videos posing some pictures![]() I am in-search of replacement hdd or even ssd ![]() |

With 128gb sdxc cards now pretty affordable (90 usd at bhphoto.com), the whole idea of a 160gb hard drive seems silly. I think there are 320gb drives available that will fit in the ipod classic. I resisted buying an Archos 48 (500gb player upgradeable to 1tb) when they were on closeout but I wouldn't bother with a hard drive smaller than that.
