Default Full refund?

Can I actually get a full refund on Cowon J3? I bought it fromwww.advancedmp3players.co.uk in Nov 2010.
I'm thinking of getting another player.

It is highly unlikey that you will get a full refund on a player that has been used for almost 2 years.

it's not a joke thread.
I read somewhere you can get a full refund because cowon did some false advertizing or something.

You can try, but don't hold your breath...

The J3 was advertised as having a Li-Po battery, but it seems to actually have a Li-ion battery.

Enzyme suggested that this could be used to get a full refund. http://www.iaudiophile.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=40354

I suspect that is not quite true... Has anyone tried?

you could take it through small claims court.

always worth a try, a polite letter from a lawyer never hurts.

Using a device for 2 full years, now you think you can get a FULL refund? A refund in general is highly unlikely... Unless you go to court for it which would be totally worthless.

Why do you want to refund it in the first place?

I suppose he wants to exploit the store where he bought his J3. That's pathetic.

Even for false advertising, I think 2 years is pushing it.
Also, I believe the manual states that the specs are subject to change without notice (fine print).
This means the li-poly/ li-ion argument is no good.

Default sell it?

I'm interested in buying one, would you be willing to sell it at a reasonable price?
Or even trade it for my Zune HD? (Fantastic device)
