Ok I'm installing it on my Cowon X7 and for some reason I can't get it. Install files from folder than add a 1 or 2 to mainmenu2. When it boosts up I don't get the settings page automatically. Am i suppose to add anything else? SOL folder is empty. Should it have something inside? Is there a step by step how to? Sorry for being so naive.

I think someone with an X9 solved the same problem by installing mainmenuN.swf twice- one numbered 1 and another numbered 2. I dont know if it will work, but you can try. I dont have an X7 myself so I dont know about any differences from the J3, so you may want to try asking in the X7 forum...

are you sure you are on the right mainmenu?
try redownloading cheetah... maybe it will help. I cant understand whats wrong...

as far as i can see you do have everything you're supposed to have, assuming all the cheetah files are in the cheetah folder, but even if not, the file mainmenu2.swf that you have there should do something so you wouldn't just see the regular firmware...
you're sure you are on the correct mainmenu?
