Default A3 crashes upon reading audio files when too many files

Hello

Having changed the battery, reformatted the 60 GB disk i loaded my A3 with a collection of photos, videos and audio files for approx 48 GB out of my 60 GB drive.
I noticed I could play photos, videos including sound but not the audio (mp3, Ogg or wave) files. Playing audio files simply caused the A3 to crash and shut down.

After a lot of investigations I determined that this happened when the total number of files on the device reached or exceeded 24478 files! With 24477 files I can play the audio files.

Before I changing the battery and reformatting the drive I believe I never reached this number of files so I never noticed the limitation.

Anyone aware of this behavior or can provide an explanation?

Thanks
