Does anyone know if the Z2's battery capacity is the same or smaller than the D3's battery? Is seems like the D3 has a big battery for an android player. What's the average music playtime on android phones?

15-20 hours only with music (using tf10 at 50-70% of volume)

That's pretty accurate as most of my friends who own android devices say the same - about 20hrs. This is a bit shocking as the Cowon 2 is advertised for 22hrs, maybe it's taking into consideration of you using the BBE Enhancements - who knows. Comparing to a phone seems the right thing to do but compared to other android mp3 players - at least well known ones - maybe we can understand what the battery really is. Samsung and Archos are the two that come to mind but will not include the 5.0 devices as they normally carry a 2500mah battery w/ 60hrs.
Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 = 1500mah, 40+hrs (guessing) Samsung Galaxy Player 4.0 = 1200mah, 30hrs Samsung Galaxy Player 3.6 = 1200mah, 36hrs Archos 43 = 1200mah, 36hrs Archos 32 & 35 = 24hrs unknown battery, maybe 1100mah Archos 28 = 600mah, 16hrs

If comparing to the Android's media players then the D3 and possibly, the Z2 has the biggest battery capacity. The D3 has 1950mah.http://www.iaudiophile.net/forums/sh...35&postcount=8 So the hardware seems really a power hog or they rate the music time with lossless format w/BBE. If one plays mp3 without BBE, would they get 30+hrs of music?
