They haven't fixed many problems. I'm pretty sure the alarm is the last thing on their mind, let alone the device itself.

I'm one of the people that is extremely pleased with the Cowon and unlike DA1writer, I have zero experience with Android devices. It took what is called a learning curve but I eventually got used to it.

I'm not extremely please, but satisfy. If don't plan on streaming videos on it, then it should be ok. If you do, you'll be sadly disappointed like DA1writer.
