Hi,
is anyone of you using the Cowon J3 with Napster/Rhapsody (Napster was bought by the latter but in Europe they kept the brand...)? Using the new software "Player Sync" which should allows you to sync MTP devices I am not able to transfer any files. In my case the software correctly detects the player and allows to transfere the license and everything. But if I try to synchronise a playlist it just shows a synchronisation animation for some seconds and then states that the playlist is synchronised. (obviously in this short time nothing has been transferred) I have a Creative Zen Vision:M which works fine (at least after some troubles) - there the software after some seconds starts to download the files and to transfer them. (This player however is a "MTP-only" device - the only difference I could think of, besides the hardware itself) I obiously set the J3 into the MTP mode and as it is a new one, I suppose everything else should be set-up correctly, too. (As this is most probably the next step napster support will propose: What happens if I format the J3? What files should I back up / is there a "reset to delivery state"?) I hope that anyone of you has already been through this and can help! Thanks |

Hi,
I solved it! I just am transferring several albums using the player sync. My solution: Just delete "Music" and "Playlists" folder and let player sync automatically generate new ones. ... seems to be this easy, at least that is what I did just before it started to work. |
