removing write protection from microcard

Eveerytime I try to load any file onto my microcard(its in a usb adapter) it says "cannot copy ___, remove write protection". Now theres no lock on this card nor the adapter. I dont wanna have to format it and load all 30gb etc. back onto it along with the new files. What can i do?

to answer my own question.... Put tape over the lock.
