Default X7 Touch Screen Coating Problem

I have had my X7 since the end of 2010 and I just love it.

Recently, however, I have been having some problems with the touch screen not being as responsive as it used to be.

There seems to be some plastic coating on the touch screen that is no longer in direct contact with the touch screen - there is a small air bubble between the coating and the screen. Maybe I have stretched the screen coating in some way ???

Anyone else had similar issues with Cowon products (or any other touch screen products, for that matter) ?

Before this happened I wasn't even aware that there was a plastic coating on the touch screen !

Probably a screen protector - some came fitted with them from the factory...

It's not the screen protector, mine came without it and I put it there myself. Unless there is a screen protector that is part of the device in some way.

Anyway, the air bubble in my case happened when I left it in a car over night when the temp was around 0C. The screen probably shrank and after that it never came back.

The interesting thing is, that I sent it for repairs, because I had a power button broken as well. They said they found nothing weird with the screen (sometimes they seem dumb, not being able to understand what I'm saying to them, or writing) and told me they can replace the screen. So I said OK, I've sent it for repairs, so if it's already there, do it. It came back with the same problem. I still have air bubble with supposedly new screen.
