My J3 folder displays the correct information while under the normal menu will not display the title nor the first song. Why?

The J3 will organize and display files either using their actual filenames (in folder view) or using metadata/tags embedded in the files (all other views).
Check that the metadata in the files is correct. Most likely the first song has another album name compared to the other songs. Even very minor differences, that are hard to spot, will cause songs to appear in different albums.
