it depends on what you expect from a player, if a very big & heavy player with low resolution display without any OS & lots of limits doesn't bothers you... go for it!!

If I'm looking at the X7 it's just because of the HDD (and the battery life). Otherwise the J3 seems to be more "like me"

its a great sounding device like all other COWON players some users say its SQ it much better than older devices ,but I personally can't handle a 212gr music player in movement & usual activities.
