X5L recognized by Computer but not MyComp/JetShell

When I plug in my new X5L, the little bubbles in the bottom right pop up indicatiing new hardware etc. In fact when I go to device manager, it's there under HD's.

However it doesn't show up when I open My Computer, nor does Jet Shell recognize it.

I'm running XP Pro SP1 (is that the problem?)
