Sweet, first the D20, now this. Cowon is starting to wake up to the idea that some of us still want pure audio players. Dare I hope that they will make an updated version of the G3? An AA-powered player with a modern CPU and 32GB (or better yet, a microsdhc slot) and big monochrome display will bring things around full circle and finally make a sensible audio playet with no video fungus. I'd buy one in an instant.

I actually think the S9+ would come before the J3+, so WAI does have a point. 64gb and I'll buy it,...

The i9+ is already available at Export Privé:
- 4gb: 88 USD / 69 EUR - 8gb: 110 USD / 85 EUR - 16gb: 141 USD / 109 EUR - 32gb: 186 USD / 144 EUR ---- About an S9+ or J3+ (preferably S9+, the S9's design is way better), I would definitely get one. ![]()

I gotta say, ~100 USD extra for the 32gb version (compared to the 4gb) is pretty painful, considering that a 32gb microsdhc card is around 20 USD around here. It's like they haven't noticed flash prices dropping since 2009 or whenever. I bought my D2 around 2008 and after some back and forth went for the 16GB version which was around $70 more than the 4GB version at the time. But I also got a 16GB SDHC card that I think was around $45. So there was only about 2x premium in $/GB for the added internal memory, plus the D2 is expandable. With the i9 instead of a 2x premium it's about 5x and no expansion is possible. The player would be a lot more attractive with a MicroSDHC/XC slot.

they will have bought the mem chips when prices were still stupidly high and will have to cover costs somehow. unfortunate money saving decision by the management, could prove costly to them :\ and s9+ ...only if they up the internal to 128-256 or else its a no for me. i want a player that i can fit my whole collection on in high quality. i much prefered the button layout to the j3, but the j3 is a nice player with an sd ![]() also an upgraded amp would be nice, perhaps a double chip version with the updated chips so the output can be boosted a bit.
