Smile How to replace LCD and/or Touch Screen

Hi,

if the D2 glass is broken it's probably just the touch digitizer and not the LCD itself. On the web you are able to find suppliers for the LCD screen with part name LTV250QV-F0B but you don't find the correct digitizer with the name atouch a025-3c. Well I found an eBay feedback that a digitizer has worked for someone and he told me what one it is TD025TTEA3. And that one is also built in some HP IPAQ 91x, maybe all, 914 I searched for. So you can also search for the Touch Digitizer for that PDA. The bad news is that the wire won't fit. However you just have to extend it. Be sure to place the touch with the right down side onto the lcd. On its down side is a writing and the wires are on the same side as in the original glass. I used the one of the original and cracked Touch Digitizer and made a bridge between the wires of the starting of the original what was in the glass and the end of the new wire which should be plugged in. The bridge is with wires of an ide cable and braced on both sides. Use insulate tape on the top of your new cable what is the contact side and it should work. My connection is a little to long and I bent it beyond the platine also works but if I would make it again I would say trying to get a shorter bridge. Be careful opening the cowon case. First 3 screws off the case, then back cover, platine 2 screws, and front cover.

Biiiiiig thanks to my eBay contact ch00-j0y
