Help WTB: Cowon iaudio x5 60gb leather case

I have been looking around for a while and cant seem to find a good replacement to my damaged x5 case. I was wondering if anyone out there is will to sell theirs (in reasonable condition) if they no longer use it. Please message me, send any pics if you can. There were 2 leather cases available one from Cowon ( I think) and the other made by Noreve. Either one would be nice.

I have an old Misticaudio X5 case that I'd be willing to send you. It's in fine condition, but I don't know what model of X5 it's designed for, unfortunately...my -guess-, though, is that it was made for the X5L, so I think it should fit the 60 gig. It's about half an inch deep.

Let me know if you're interested.

I'm having some doubts that this might not fit my 60gb x5. Your first message said it was about a half inch. Could you do me a favor and measure its inside thickness? I looked at my x5 and it seems to be more like 0.6 inches. It's a small difference but it might matter. Let me know. Thanks

Could you clarify what you mean by inside thickness?

I meant the size of the gap on the inside of the case, from the inside of the case's front to the inside of the case's back. The X5 models all have the same width but have different thickness or depth depending on hdd it has or in the case of the X5L the battery.my 60gb X5 is thicker from front to back because of its bigger hdd compared to a 20gb X5. Do you understand what I am trying to figure out about this case now? I need to know the gap size to determine if it will fit or not. I would like you to measure it if you can because you sounded unsure if it was for the X5L.

I'm pretty sure that you're talking about the number I already gave you, then.

Well, .5" is probably a little bit less, since when you put the DAP into the case it expands a little bit, which isn't something I'd tried to account for.

Again though, I'm about 90% sure the case is for an X5L, which has the same dimensions as the 60 gig X5.

That's reassuring. As long as it is for the X5L like you said then its all good. I'll be counting on your 90% sureness level, which is good enough for me. Sorry to hassle you about this. I just remembered a time in the past when i bought another case that ended up slightly too small and turned out to be useless. I didn't want a repeat of that. I got high hopes man
