Memory cards do not play in D2+

I have a D2+ that does not play multiple memory cards.
I tried to reformat one with the Panasonic reformatter but this card will get as far as the artist listing and when you touch to select, the player freezes up and has to be reset.
Is there something simple I can do to remedy this problem?
Everything else works perfect except the memory card does not play and is not integrated on main menu. You have to go to folders and pick the d2+ folder to access memory card.
I did take the player apart to see if there was any obvious problems but none were seen.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

EDIT. I cleared all memory and now all is good.
