Don't worry, I definitely will code a browser, a music app, etc. This is just one of the motivation blockades I explained here: http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showth...076#post331076

No probs. I've got your beta version of cheetah on my j3 and must admit it did take me quite a while to get to onto my player. Got there in the end though!

I'm going to wait until you've completed your final version of GTX before attempting to load it though, just to be safe. I ain't got the know how to fix it if (and no doubt when) I mess it up!

We sure understand motivation! We saw how fast you got the UCI selection added to GTX thanks to I think WAI idea.
But to be honest (for me at least) the UCI selection is cool, but we want to use YOUR UIs music, browser, etc. As they are the best around by far.

I pretty much understand your feeling. Don't worry, everybody has his own pace. Anyway, when you're coding in your motivation "high", you're waaayy faster than many codders includding me. In the end, everything is balanced...

Soon, i'll post some advance of cheetahImporter. Hey, i'm am not sitting here waiting for cheetah GTX !

Your work is awesome Kizune !

Kizune has his brain on something else. He's developing a program for windows that auto installs cheetah GTX or any UCI in general

I'm going to do a live stream today - and then you will see me coding in a proper coding language (ActionScript 2 is anything but a proper language). Though, I'll have to re-adapt to C# at first because the last time I used it was three years ago.

AS2 and Objective-C, everything you need to concretize your suicide project haha

How you've learned C# ? You started with C/C++ and switch to C#, you've started with java and understood that it was kind of heavy and slow and switched or directly C# ?

Did you already try Python ? That's one of the most powerful/steady/enjoyable language that i know....

I started directly with C#. No wait, actually I learned some VisualBasic.NET at first (when I was 13), but I didn't like the syntax and looked for a better alternative. C# was quite similar to VB.NET regarding how it works (it's .NET-based, too, after all) and thus I learned C#. I coded lots of things, but then I bought the S9 and learned ActionScript. Ever since I've never coded C# again.

About Python, I heard of it quite often. Do you know a good IDE for Windows?

Strange...same beginning as you. I started at about 12 with vb6 and i switched to vb.net at 14...after i switched to python and C/C++ for simplicity and responsivness
On windows, i think that python tool for visual studio is the best of all (mainly for intellisense) but netbeans is great too. I don't have visual studio on all my computers and sometimes i just use IDLE (IDE include with python installation) : pretty basic but got everything you need (synthax coloring, auto-completion, auto identation, etc...). I learned python on IDLE so it's ok
