z2 & the android market!

don't know ifn the right place or not but i am getting really frustrated with my recent first time purchase of a cowon device! the z2 to be exact, just can't understand why i can't get andrioid apps onto the z2 from google play! & as a newby there doesn't seem to be anywhere else to download from!
can anybody help please? or at least point me in the right direction if i'm in the wrong place! don't have any issues with the player itself superb quality,
first time i have owned a cowon product.
any help would be appreciated. thanks johnie h
