I don't think you are supposed to remove the original sol at all. And then you have to rename the M in the .swf file (doing this from memory so bear with) to either 1, 2, or 3. And then *I think* you have to change it to Cheetah in the menu. Don't ask me though, I'm just as green here too.

Sorry if this somehow doesn't make sense; I'm a J3 user, but I'll try my best here.

I don't believe you need to delete the .sol files, but if your X7 is still starting up and working properly, it shouldn't matter - the .sol files should be recreated by the device.
Copy the contents of the .zip you downloaded from Kizune directly to /System/Flash UI/ on your X7.
You certainly do need to rename the M in the mainmenuM.swf to 1, 2, or 3. If you've already cleared your sol, then try renaming to 1, since it's probably the default. Otherwise, make sure you also switch to the respective main menu UI on your X7.
Don't rename anything else though.

If you've already did this, or if it doesn't work, I think you might need an actual X7 user to help you out.

Just a note, for the X7 you can replace the 'N' in 'mainmenuN.swf' only with either '1' or '2'. It does only support 2 mainmenus.

Sorry Kizune .. Im baffled by this whole process, I dont even see mainmenuN.swf

I have mainmenu1.sol ??

so where do I find the one you speak of I have looked in the cheetah sub files and dont see it there .. also I know people have told me to unzip cheetah into flashUI I did that and when I rebooted the x7 it said welcome to cheetah but when using it was still the original UI.
