First off, this method requires that your Z2 is rooted.
Fortunately, even if you're locked out (like me) but have USB Debugging enabled (Settings > Applications > Development), you can still root your player using Gungr's guide. Your player is rooted? Good, then do the following steps: - Navigate to *location of the Android SDK*\platform-tools\ (in my case C:\android-sdk-windows\platform-tools\) - Hold Shift + right click on a blank place in the window and select "Open Command Prompt here" - In the Command Prompt window, enter "adb shell" - As soon as the window shows a $, enter "wipe data" Your player will unlock itself automatically and you can access all settings etc again. I recommend you to re-install the current firmware to make sure everything works fine after applying this guide. Please note that all your apps will be uninstalled and all settings will be reset.

hei,
my z2 is rooted. i tryed to reset it. but got allways $ wipe data Wiping /data Error opendir'ing /data 'Permission denied' Done wiping /data $ would be nice to get a hint, why that. |
