Hi Kizune, I'm trying to download Sense but there's an error on the page re not being able to find file or folder in line 65 of sense.php. Are you able to resolve? Thanks

You need the direct link to the download page, otherwise there's no way to access it.

Thanks for that. The same problem occurs for other sense pages like faq and instructions. I've tried linking to them by a direct url e.g. http://kizune.bplaced.net/?show=sense&sub=faq but it still gives an error. The same doesn't occur lynx pages. Dunno if I'm missing something but it seems not to be following a consistent pattern. Thanks for your help.

Yes it does. Always the same pages of Sense don't work.^^ The Sense section isn't finished yet, users can only access the download page and the changelog. ![]()

Kizu, thanks. I've installed sense using instructions that occur earlier in the thread. It is excellent
So much better than the original UI. I'm going to evaluate Lynx as well and then put in a donation. Thanks for all your work. You've really increased the functionality of this great player.Sorry for the confusion on consistent pages - I meant that all the Lynx pages were populated whereas the Sense weren't. Now understand where you are with the development. |

Hey, no problem, and thanks a lot for using my UCIs.
![]() I recommend you to try Leaf also. It's a browser UCI which provides a jukebox, an initial letter search, a full text search (which lists both files and folders unlike the default browser's search feature which lists files only) and more.

i just wanted to say thanks kizune - i have leaf, sense and lynx all running and they are great - makes such a big improvement to have a more intuitive and attractive system in place.
leaf i have just installed today and i'm not missing the horrible purple backdrop of the default browser at all...! |

How should I rename the mainmenu files to switch to lynx from the X7 default UI?
I just would like to keep lynx and the graphic UI and delete - if possible - the second text X7 UI. Thanks Last edited by Gierre; 11-07-2011 at 15:42.. |

The link on the first page is not leading to Sense download, but new UI Cheetah+Penguin.
Actually it seems Sense is not in development anymore. However the magic 3 can still be downloaded at: http://kizune.square7.de/ |

Hey guys how do you fix static noise and get the album cover to fit with the screen? is they're a new firmware update from 2.8 yet? (haven't been on this board for a few months)

No further firmware updates seem to be forthcoming. The only way to sort out the album cover is to install one of Kizune's UIs... don't know anything about a static noise problem...

Hi - do you know if this still goes for the X7? I can't find the library you're talking about anywhere.
Cheers !! SORRY - TRIED TO DELETE THIS MESSAGE, BUT CAN'T FIND A DELETE OPTION ANYWHERE !! Last edited by FrankPsychRight; 06-29-2012 at 02:57.. |

Works for me. Once you connect the player to your computer, go to the X7 HDD folder, and right-click on the Music folder. Go to Properties, click on Hidden, and it should pop-up asking you if you want to hide just this folder, or all of them. I just hide the one, otherwise Windows takes forever doing the rest. Then unhook the USB, let the player database load, hook it back up once it's done, and then reverse the process to unhide the Music folder. When you unhook the USB the second time, it'll take a lot longer to update the database as it basically rebuilds itself, and, in the process, properly updates the genre tags.

I see none of the things you describe in this UI. There aren't any columns. And the M button only pauses/plays the current song unless you hold it down.
EDIT: Cheetah works exactly like how you described Sense. I'm ready to be very pleased with this new player. Last edited by Shooop; 07-20-2012 at 21:16.. |
