Hi.
I'm the proud owner of a new Z2 and would like to get a 64gb card for it to beef it up some! I've read on other sites that the Z2 can be a little flakey with certain 64gb cards, so I'd like to ask those of you who have purchased 64gb cards and they're working OK, if they could give me the specific manufacturer and model number of the card you are using please? Also, when I get the card, do I need to do anything extra with it, such as formatting it in a specific way, or do I just plug it straight into the Z2? Mike. Thank you for your reply, Milic. Does this card need to be formatted in any special way to use?

If I remember well it came as exFat but I reformatted it with NTFS so I could store files bigger than 4 GB

Milic: exFAT has a file size limit of 16eb (exabyte). Just saying.

While Microsoft invented NTFS, that doesn't mean it's only usable by Windows.

^good point. I recall that one of the best things about playing around with linux from time to time is how it can easily access my windows partition.
I could be mistaken, however android is unable to work with NTFS though, right? Most posts I've seen in the past on android forums seem to indicate this. Unless it's something enabled on the newer android versions? |

I think newer Android versions can use NTFS fine, or at least many manufacturers add NTFS support. The Z2 is the perfect example - it uses NTFS by default and it can read and write to the internal memory flawlessly.
Some manufacturers also started to integrate exFAT (another MS filesystem) support to Android because it will be the standard filesystem for (micro)SDXC cards.
