The "reliable data connection" just means part of the sync "framework isn't working right. What I did was: Download the file from above; Unzip; Get it on you phone; Install (click on) GoogleServicesFramework; Install (click on) MarketUpdater; Reboot Device; Install (click on) Vending-GooglePlay; Reboot Device; Open Google Play and Add your account Make sure your account has been added Make sure sync is active If you have a problem Reboot and try again. Some of this may be unnecessary but that is what I ended up going through to get it to work and it works flawlessly now, Good Luck! ![]() |

Hey, guys the google play apk for the Z2 and the D3 can also be found on the anythingbutipod.com forums:
Z2: http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69250 D3: http://anythingbutipod.com/forum/showthread.php?t=69228 These might be different, and could work better for those who are having issues installing the app! |

Hi,
I've done this several times, but it never worked. Then I did a "Factory reset", reinstalled, and now it works. Thank you. |

You need to change something in settings to get it to connect I think it was;
applications->settings->accounts allow both background data and auto sync - then create your account. |
