My J3 appears to be on its way out after 2 solid years of service. I have no complaints about it at all, except maybe storage capacity.
I feel strange though to throw down another USD 260 to buy the same thing I just had. I know that's irrational given how much I liked the J3. Is there another device on the market or going to be available soon that is/will be better than the J3? Last edited by flametooth; 05-27-2012 at 11:45.. |

as much as we all love the j3, i think cowon said they were creating its sucessor in a few months. (J3 is now discontinued) so either wait for that (knowing cowon that could be awhile) or just buy a new j3. really its up too you.

Did you get a microsd to expand memory? What is it doing, that says it's on it's way out to you?

I really hope cowon not bring in android for J3 successor, the complex android system will bring in interference and uncertainty to the system. Also will make the battery time shorter. Really like current simple and pure MP3 player system.

.But if i was in your position i would get another J3 since it is a very good player. And yes, a successor is coming out but it is coming out in October or November in Korea and February to the rest of the world. I know this information from here http://iaudiophile.net/forums/showpo...62&postcount=4 If you want to read the thread and can't find it, click on the top right of the screen.
