If you really want a Rearth Ringke silicone case for your J3, time to buy it.

I just got off the phone with someone at Rearth (I was looking for a color they didn't have in stock), and they said they are discontinuing manufacture of them. Not a huge surprise, since Cowon isn't making the J3 anymore, but it is still is a bit annoying.

That's unfortunate, I was going to order the Red Wine case (since I planned on getting a J3 soon before they become unavailable). Anyway, thanks for the update.

Well, I would order your J3 soon, and if you want a red wine case, I would locate one and order it asap. That's the color I'm looking for, and so far I've only found one place that still has that color. I ordered my J3 on Amazon, and I received it the day after ordering it (the shipping center it was sent from is in a state adjacent to mine).

I just realized I never bothered to say where it is that has the red Rearth case for the J3. It's Export Prive.

I looked far and wide, this is the only place that has that color, anywhere.

Does anyone know how long these cases last for? I've already got one, but if it's a type of case that doesn't last that long would it be worth buying another one?

I imagine a while. I had much cheaper and not as well crafted silicone cases for other MP3 players last for two years. I just gave my wife my Meizu M6, and it's on its second silicone case. Those cases were $2 each, and much inferior to what these cases appear to be.

Unless something drastic happens, I would expect it to last at least 5 years.
