Hello, my D2 was working fine but suddenly kept turning off. I turned it back on each time but eventually it just wouldnt turn on. When i shake it you can hear something loose moving inside it. I tried charging it and it charges fine, i can also connect it to my computer. I can turn it on sometimes but if i move it slightly it turns off again. A few weeks prior to this, one day i had a minor problem where it remained on hold but this seemed to pass and i thought nothing of it. I think this supports my theory that there is something wrong inside the player with the power button though.
I think there is something inside the player to do with the power button that has come loose. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Would it be a good idea to take apart the player to see whats up (my old D2 got bricked so they sent me a replacement. Therefore i cant really send it back again). Cheers! |

If you can't send it back then I'd say your only other option is to open it yourself. One of the good things about the D2's design is that it's not a complicated thing to open up, there's a couple of threads that show you how to do it, but they might be burried deep in the forums now.
