I love theese threads and I love your desktop! One should list what themes and programms they use too!
Here's my current one though I change it a little every day:  Visual Style: soft7 CD Art display skin: Nay'os Kor Im not entirely satesfied with it, not a fan of the widgets but my desktop feels empty without them. I've used rainmeter in th past but never really felt comfortable with it.

well all of your desktops are beautiful but I still can't let go my old XP(plus ubuntu) I don't know why I can't get use to 7 or vista.

I was hesitant to learn 7 too, but after you learn your way around (1 day of fiddling at most) everything becomes a LOT easier.

I decided to try Rainmeter again and the new 1.2 version is really great! I allso found a great theme called rainify so I installed and configured it (though the disk skin has gone a little nuts, will look into that later).
 I dont like iconson the desktop either, but for some reason I need those widgets, even if I rarely use them.
