If I have 4.12 already, is there any point in downloading 2.13 or 3.13?
Thanks B |

Hi, this might be sort of off topic, but I just installed the 2.13 firmware and my transfer rates seem to be a bit slow. I'm using Windows XP Pro 32 Bit, and 1 gig of music seems to taking about 10 minutes to transfer onto my D2+. Anybody else having this problem with the new firmware(s)? Again, sorry if this is a bit off topic, and thanks!

The same for me yesterday, I had to wait a lot of time to transfer. I don't know if it was the same before, but I found it very slow...I'm using Seven.
(sorry for my english). |

I've tried it, but still on 2.11.
The best was better treble without "sssss" on vocals. The worst was the bass low end (weak) and (for me) an almost unusable EQ with my AKG K-450 cans. |

It's not that big difference (like it was upgrading from x.10 to x.11 FW) and probably because of that, they haven't mentioned it in change log...

Ok thanks. I think I'll stick with the 2.11 FW for now. You know what they say: If it ain't broken don't fix it.
![]() As dv8tor says in the 3.13 FW topic. The changes are minimal. So we wait for a more significant change.

Xcuse me Problem .. I don't know if it is only me but it seems that with the 2.13 firmware the Flac file sync is all messed up.. and even if i manage to sync it (Mediamonkey GOLD) D2 doesn't even recognize it. I see the files through windows but not when i look for em in the D2.
Actually i Found what was wrong .. starnge but now if your flac file have have ".flac" extension it won't work the d2 won't recognize it until one get rid of the "c" ... so rename to ".fla" then everything is ok Last edited by sjstephane; 03-26-2010 at 04:41.. |
